“Kitchen up-date included new cabinets, granite countertops, tile wall splash, under-cabinet lighting, sink, and faucet. The representative made excellent suggestions to bring our Kitchen in to the 21st century. He was very helpful and patient while we decided which style cabinet and what wood to choose in our remodel. His suggestions showed he understood what we wanted and the best way to get what we needed. We were impressed with his “non-high-powered” approach and his knowledge of his products. We incorporated most of his ideas and were especially pleased with his ideas to extend our countertop and give added storage in unexpected places. The old cabinets were removed in a few hours and by the end of the first week, all lower cabinets were in place and most of the electrical work was ready for inspection. The countertop came in one week after the measurement. The upper cabinets were put in place, the wall splash installation took two days and then the finishing touches were completed. I had expected the process to take 4-5 weeks, but it was completed in three weeks.

The project started on time and finished in 3 weeks. The workers were highly skilled, hard working, and always willing to answer any questions I had completely and politely. There were NEVER any extended lunch hours and they cleaned up the kitchen and the staging area in the garage daily. The workmanship was of the best quality. The project coordinator checked in, in person, almost every day the workers were on site. He handled any concern I had at once and I am completely satisfied and happy with the results. We are enjoying our new Kitchen very much.

Biggest problem I have are the hardwood floors. The seams open and close on their own. Not sure if this was the wood we selected, Beechwood, or if there is some other problem. Overall I was very happy with OHI’s work, their professionalism, and attention to details. All of our friends and family love our kitchen now but most of all we love our kitchen and continue to wish OHI great success.
